Marrakech

Marrakech, According to Andy

This is my personal way of travelling, quiet notes on places that don’t need explaining, only feeling.

#Marrakech is raw, vibrant, and slightly chaotic in the best possible way.
You don’t come here for comfort, you come for contrast.

Where you sleep matters.
If you want something outside the ordinary, go for @beldicountryclub or Riad @casaabracadabra.
We stayed inside the Medina: beautiful, but everything feels more complex. Worth knowing.

Days are for getting lost in the Medina.
No real plan, just movement.

Stop by @fragrantica_marrakech and create your own scent choosing three notes.
Then pick up orange blossom water at @aromatimri.
And if you feel like refreshing your living room, stop by and explore the creations @lahandira

If you’re not staying there, spend a full day at Beldi Country Club.
Lunch, sun, pool, spa. The boutique is worth the stop alone.

Skip Jardin Majorelle if you’ve seen it already.
A yoga session inside Riad Abracadabra feels more personal, more aligned with the city.

Just outside the Medina, @elfennmarrakech is perfect for a slow aperitivo on a rooftop, with some of the best shopping in town.

Lunch is simple but intentional.
@la_famille_marrakech is new, intimate, very considered, try the tarte aux pommes.
@lejardinmarrakech is bigger, but the internal courtyards are beautiful.

Evenings depend on your mood.
@comptoirdarn for a proper Moroccan night, book upstairs for music and performances.
@bozinmarrakech if you want dinner that turns into something more.

For design and objects, spend time around @mustaphablaoui .

Cash is key.
Exchange into local currency and negotiate, it’s still where the best deals happen.

There is Uber, but only works around the main square, Jemaa el-Fnaa.
Useful for the airport.
For taxis, always cash.

Pack light fabrics, sunglasses, and something you don’t mind getting a little lost in.

Last but not least, enjoying Marrakech with your friends, the cherry on top. @simonettaformentini @jigglypuffally 🧡
